The 6 Aptitudes of Service Assessment
A self-assessment designed to help a leader determine a place of service that fits them best. Perfect for group study or leadership development!
When a person joins a local church or experiences salvation, they often develop a desire to make a difference. It is normal and healthy for a new Christian to want to give back and to contribute to the overall life of the church. God not only calls us to salvation, but calls us to serve in the Kingdom.
Service, ministry, and leadership are not responsibilities reserved for a selected few, but rather the mission of the entire body. When we are all serving and working together, the body of Christ is at its best.
Often, new leaders in a local church have a hard time finding a place of service. They often ask, “Where can I best apply my natural giftings and talents?” This assessment is designed to answer this question.
In only 36 questions, new leaders will determine which of six aptitudes they identify with the most. These aptitudes represent six vital areas of ministry in the local church.
- Outreach & Witnessing
- Prayer Covering & Intercession
- Management & Administration
- Maintenance & Helps
- Guest Services & Follow-Up
- Teaching & Mentoring
